Traviss changed my life and opened many doors after I completed the LPN program, all the staff were very helpful and are always willing to help a determined student. Traviss is Polk county’s best kept secret! Many trades to choose from. Go for it you won’t regret it.

Best beauty school! I love the cosmetology program. I have the best teacher, Ms. Thropes. I went to Artistic Nails and Beauty Academy 5 years ago and I only lasted 2 months at that school because of the unprofessionalism, but I took a break and took a leap of faith to go back and try again at this school, Travis. Honestly, I'm glade I did; the teachers and staff members are very supportive all around, I will officially finish and complete the program in 17 days. Definitely recommend this program to anyone looking for a great cosmetology program.

At 47 yrs old the last thing I wanted to do was go back to school and get my GED. However there is alot that has changed and I could not learn it on my own. Working all day and taking care of children, going to night school was hard. To my surprise the teachers and the staff were amazing! I'm not sure I would of made it through with out them. I am beyond greatful for all their help and support they showed wile I was there. I can not thank them all enough! If your scared do it anyway. If its hard do it anyway. I had to stop making excuses and just do it! Thank you all so much ❤️

I can’t say enough good things about the automotive program at Traviss technical college. The hands-on training and real-world experience have been incredible, but what truly makes this program stand out are the instructors Mr. Sherwood and Mr. Allen. Both of them go above and beyond for their students. They’re patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about helping you understand every detail. Whether it’s explaining something twice, giving extra help after class, or sharing real shop advice from their own experience, they make sure you feel confident in what you’re learning. Thanks to their support and guidance, I’ve gained skills and confidence that will help me throughout my automotive career. If you’re thinking about getting into this field, I highly recommend this program — you’ll be learning from two of the best!
